Susie T Designs
Susie T Designs is a Sydney based studio offering stunning interior design services for residential and commercial clientele.
Susie has a huge passion for colour and memorable interiors and loves to create beautiful and functional spaces that feel inspiring and welcoming. Her brief was to create an online presence that would reflect the same thing: inspiring and welcoming. This was a site update, and I was aiming for a contemporary sleek design, which we achieved!
Very happy client.
Dani is such a Zen lady, it was lovely to work with her. This was a brand new site, even though she has been offering meditation classes for years. I did both logo and web design.
She loves Kingfishers, which featured in her logo, but I also carried this over to a soft feather theme, which I’ve used in the header images, and also backgrounds. The site tone is definitely one that feels calm and welcoming.
Linzi is a psychotherapist based in the Sydney’s Inner West.
This was a brand new site build and logo design. The brief was to create an online presence that would be welcoming and feel ‘safe’ to visitors, without overwhelming them with screeds of clinical information, but instead giving them easy to grasp information of services offered, with a seamless booking process.
I kept the colours muted, and added some subtle backgrounds to the white spaces of the site. Lizi was delighted with the site.
Rainbow Children's Entertainment
Jess came to me after seeing another children’s entertainer website that I’d designed. I love it when this happens:).
It’s always important to me that no two sites are the same, particularly when I’m working with clients who are in the same industry. I did a lot of bespoke photoshop design on this one, with completely different branding colours and design style.
Greater Sydney Music Academy
James approached me at the beginning of Covid 19. Firstly he now had time to get a website happening, and he also had more of a need to market online lessons as an add on service not provided before by the Academy.
The brief was a relaxed, fun, but professional feel for the site.
James didn’t have any images, so I used some fabulous watercolour instrument images with gradient overlays to really make the site pop with colour.
MJ Hayes Author
MJ is a children’s author, based in Florida in the US. With modern technology these days, it’s as easy to design a site for someone halfway around the word, as it is a local client. Amazing isn’t it!
The brief was vibrant autumn colours, and funky fonts. The rest was up to me. The site showcases her books in a colourful and fun way, and can be purchased with a simple click on this ecommerce site. MJ loved the result, she was genuinely thrilled.
Emma is at the helm of this fabulous company that produces live musical theatre for Australian children. Bright colours and bold visuals, and easy to find information for educators was her main focus, which we achieved!
This site replaced an older one which was really in need of a makeover. Em’s enquiry rate has zoomed since the launch of the new site … music to my ears:)
Make Me A Rockstar
A children’s entertainer, singing teacher, workshop presenter, singer and all round extraordinary gift to kids, Lauren had an old site, which was pretty disorganised in terms of navigating all the offerings she has. So a lot of time was spent segmenting teaching from birthday parties from workshops, from singing tuition, so now website visitors can find the specific thing they’re after quickly and easily. I cannot stress enough to clients how important that is. I loved designing this site, with lots of bespoke design and colour. She was delighted.
The New Theatre is a Sydney institution… serving up dollops of delightful theatre to Newtown theatregoers for over 80 years. I dealt with the fabulous Alice Livingstone, who ran creative decisions past the committee. This was a brand new site to replace an older one. I created in dark colours, to emulate a ‘darkened theatre’, and focused on a seamless booking experience for site visitors.
Rachel Alt is a technical writer based in Sydney. She helps people and businesses, find the words they need. After labouring away trying to build the site herself, she finally conceded that she needed to hand over the reigns.
Her brief was a sleek, minimalist design, with little colour or images.
Wellco Cafe Leichhardt
My local cafe had no online presence at all when I approached them to see if they’d like to change that:). I’m a foodie from way back and it was fun working with Nasim, the owner, sorting through images that would entice more bums on seats in this delightful cafe with all sorts of exotic food offerings.
This was very much an image based site. My main intention was painting a picture of the atmosphere of the place, as well as featuring their delicious menu.
Premier Rug Cleaning Services
Leanne and Jeff from Queensland approached me for a brand new website, prior to the launch of their new business.
As this is a highly competitive field, I focused on three things. Visuals: before and after shots so web visitors could see results quickly, easy booking form, where they could attach images and get an accurate quote, and testimonials from happy clients. There business has flourished and they’ve since returned for a second site … happy clients!
Marriage Of Convenience
Megan is a Petersham based Marriage Celebrant. No butterflies, rainbows or pastel colours for this gal. So I opted for a playful pink and a cheeky font for her site, to reflect her sassy style.
Once again, the focus on social proof with lots of images and testimonials from happy couples.
At Your Service Celebrant
Yes, this is another part of my life! Web Design, being a Celebrant: they’re both about celebrating. Sharing what we have to offer the world, and celebrating special moments of those we share our lives with. I love designing sites and services!
LOADS of beautiful design on this site. Take a peek!
